Body System Analysis

The Body System Analysis is a questionnaire that utilizes a systematic approach to wellness. It is based on the
principle that every disease or symptom has a root cause. Root causes are classified into the
following five categories:
- Mental and Emotional Stress
- Nutritional Deficiencies
- Physical Trauma
- Toxic Overload
- Basic Physical and/or Emotional Makeup.
This systematic approach looks at the body as a whole and believes that each root cause can create symptoms that
relate to different areas of the body. To get rid of these symptoms you must determine what root cause created the
symptom. Once you figure out the root cause that created the symptom, you need to nourish it. When you nourish the
root cause, it allows the body to create an environment that promotes healing. Once the body has a
healing environment, it is natural to believe that as your overall health improves all of your symptoms would also
start to improve.
The Body System Analysis studies health, not symptoms or disease. Our goal with this analysis is to
learn how to keep your body in a healthy balanced state. By asking these specific questions, we can determine what
your weakest body system is so we can assist you with nourishing and balancing your root
cause. Information based on Stephen Horne’s work.
Kinesiology and Muscle Response Testing
Muscle Response Testing is based on the science that all living things contain some type of
internal energy or vibration. Muscle testing offers a noninvasive way of evaluating and assessing the body’s
imbalances or needs by tapping into its internal energy. Muscle Testing simply measures the body’s response
to something when applying a slight pressure to a large muscle. The resistance to this applied pressure
provides information on energy blockages, the functioning of organs, nutritional deficiencies, food sensitivities,
and various other things. It is widley used to test the body’s responses to herbs and other natural remedies.
An example of muscle testing for herbs is performed by giving the customer a bottle of herbs to hold in one hand
while they extend their other arm out to the side, parallel with the floor. The objective is for you to resist your
arm from being lowered when the practitioner presses down on the extended arm and the opposite shoulder with equal
pressure. This equal pressure helps to facilitate balance among the energy. If the herb is something your body
needs, it will be easy for you to resist the downward pressure and hold your arm rigid. If the herb is something
your body doesn't need, you will not be able to resist the downward pressure. This same technique is also used to
determine how often you should take each herb and how much of the herb you should take. Information taken from goodhealthinfo.net
